I was lucky to visit the elder myself in January 1999. Even then, just before the bombings, he said that sorrows would come to Serbia because of the great sins of the supreme power and the people. He said that Milosevic would soon fall from the throne, but that he would be replaced by a much worse person, and that many parts of Serbia would be destroyed.

People from Belgrade and all over Serbia came to him, and he told everyone that only repentance could save Serbia, because God is omnipotent. Unfortunately, as he said, there is very little repentance in Serbia and therefore there will be even more grief.

In addition, he repeated many times that Serbia must first of all worship God and be faithful and obedient to him, and then God Himself will protect Serbia.

He condemned children for disobedience to their parents, parents for improper upbringing of children, consoled those people who fell into despair because of life's problems, condemned those who were carried away by spiritualism and belief in horoscopes, etc. I myself heard how our Patriarch Pavel greatly appreciated him and even came to him for advice.

He said that Vojvodina would embark on the path of separatism, and the West would help them, it would be especially difficult in Vojvodina and Belgrade, and central Serbia would become the safest place.

Prophecies of Monk Gabriel

I did not have the happiness of meeting Elder Thadeus personally, but I was lucky to talk to a nun who was the spiritual child of another great elder, Monk Gabriel, from the Bosnjane Monastery. He died in 1999.

I want to emphasize that the prophecies of Elder Gabriel completely repeat the prophecies of Elder Tadeus. Especially the words about the misfortunes of Belgrade and the fact that only in central Serbia it will be calm. Just as a good father punishes his child out of love for him in order to correct him, so God, when all methods of calling to repentance have been exhausted, will allow severe trials for his beloved Serbian people.

But through these trials, Sunday will come, and after those great sorrows, great glory and joy will come for Serbia. Elder Gabriel said that this would not happen until Russia became an empire and until the Russian Tsar was crowned in our Kruševac, because Belgrade would no longer be the capital...

"And when all the Serbs gather under one plum, there will be eternal peace and tranquility on our land."
This is perhaps one of the most famous Balkan prophecies. They treat him differently. Some note that the map of Serbia without Kosovo with its outlines is very reminiscent of this particular tree, which means that the world is just around the corner. Others call this prediction a lie and even the intrigues of enemies who want to dismember the state. Approximately the same attitude towards the authors of this prophecy - the Tarabichs from the village of Kremna.

Tarabichi were originally from Herzegovina. As the family legend says, Spasoe Tarabich and his four sons, driving cattle for sale in Bosnia, in one of the mountain valleys of Tara saw a snake holding a golden ducat in its mouth. In the place where the reptile was basking in the sun, they found a treasure, which they happily divided among themselves and invested in the construction of their own houses, thereby founding the village of Kremna.
They say that it was on the site of this village that the earth once suffered a blow with another cosmic body, thanks to which the Kremanskaya basin was formed, surrounded by mysterious mountains. These mountains consist of some special kind of semi-precious stone, radiating unusual energy, contributing to longevity and the manifestation of the talent of foresight. In any case, Tarabichi were not the first prophets of these places. A certain Kremanian gave advice to Prince Lazar himself, the “vidovity” natives of Kremna are mentioned both under the famous Karadzhorge and under Prince Milos.
As for the Tarabic brothers, they became the most famous Serbian prophets of the nineteenth century. Largely thanks to his godfather, Archpriest Zakhary Zaharich, who not only wrote down all their prophecies, but also handed them over to Dr. Radovan Kazimirovich, the author of the book “Mysterious Manifestations in the Serbian People and the Kreman Prophecy.” True, there is a version that we do not know the true text of the brothers' predictions. They say that Archpriest Zachary gave the manuscript to his friend Gavrila Popovich, who walled it up in the foundation of his house in Uzhitz. The house is still standing, but no one has yet been found to confirm this version.
During the time of Tito, the second edition of the Kremansky Prophecy was published, edited by Golubovich. To convince the people that it was with socialist Yugoslavia that "eternal peace" came to the Balkans, the text was amended. Great times will allegedly come when the Serbian people connect their lives with a sign that everyone can see on an apple cut in half, whose core is shaped like a five-pointed star. Comments are superfluous.

Now in the village of Kremna there is the House of the Prophets - a kind of museum, which contains exhibits telling about these places and the Tarabich brothers. One of the most interesting exhibits was the Kremansky stone, one of several hundred "space guests" that have not been fully studied, possessing colossal energy. This photo was taken on August 9, 2005 at about 3 pm. A day or so later, the House of the Prophets suddenly caught fire, and the stone itself broke into several parts. They say that the museum was set on fire by one of the villagers. What for? There is no answer to this question yet.

But back to the prophets. The first was Milos Tarabich (1809-1854). According to Archpriest Zacharias, the elder Tarabich was a pious man, spoke little, was prone to epileptic seizures, and had an unusually penetrating look. He lived only forty-three years. He predicted his early death and promised to continue communication with the world through one of his relatives, who was his nephew Mitar (1829-1899).
Interestingly, the villagers themselves were skeptical about both Tarabichs. And even when something they said came true, the invariable followed: “Ah, I guessed it ...”. Most likely, they simply did not understand. And how can an illiterate person understand, for example, this: soon they will measure the land and collect tribute according to the measures, and the money will become a piece of paper (charter). It is clear to us that we are talking about land tax and shares, but to the peasant of the century before last, all this seemed like gibberish. Another thing is surprising: both Milos and Mitar were also not literate and did not graduate from universities. However, they foresaw the advent of the telegraph, telephone and television, predicted changes in the Serbian throne, the decline and return of the Karađorđevićs, many events of the First and Second World Wars.

Predictions and events up to the end of World War I (1903-1918)

. “After the assassination of the king and queen [Alexander and Draga Obrenović], the Karageorgevichi will come to power. Then we will again start a war with the Turks. Four Christian states will attack Turkey, and our border will be along the Lim River. Then we will finally retake Kosovo and avenge it.”

Historical facts: 1903 - Alexander and Draga Obrenovici were killed by their guards. Peter Karageorgevich became the ruler of Serbia. 1912 - The beginning of the First Balkan War between the countries of the Balkan Union (Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Montenegro) and Turkey (Ottoman Empire). This local war soon grew into the First World War, in which 32 countries participated. Austria quickly and easily captured the northern and central parts of Serbia, but when General Alexander Misic (a man on a black horse) stood at the head of the Serbian army, the Serbs managed to push the Austrians back across the Drina River.

Historical facts: 1918 - Collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In December 1918, a new state was proclaimed, officially called the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, but constantly torn apart by economic, social and political divisions between nationalist parties.

“For several years we will live in peace, love and prosperity. But it won't last forever. Our people will be poisoned by the poison of hatred... More bloodshed... Horror! I don’t know when or where, but probably this hatred is to blame.”

Historical facts: The predominance of Serbs in the government, the multiplicity of political parties and the denial of autonomy to Croats, Slovenes and other national minorities led to political unrest in the kingdom. Under the leadership of Stjepan Radić, the Croats and their allies increasingly opposed the centralized system and the dictates of the Serbs. After a member of the national parliament from Montenegro mortally wounded Radic and two of his supporters, the Croats left parliament and formed their own regime, headquartered in Zagreb. Facing the threat of civil war, Serbian King Alexander suspended the 1921 constitution in January 1929, dissolved parliament and all political parties, and proclaimed a government dictatorship. Hoping to restore national unity, the king then abolished the traditional division of the country into provinces and renamed the state the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

Historical facts: On October 9, 1934, a Macedonian terrorist associated with Croatian separatists killed King Alexander while he was in France on an official visit. The new king of Yugoslavia was his minor son Peter II . The government was administered on his behalf by a regency council headed by Prince Pavel Karageorgevich, a cousin of the late Alexander. Unpopular with the people, Paul was overthrown by the rebellious officers and escaped to England. In 1939 the Second World War began. In April 1941, the German army invaded Yugoslavia. The young king and government fled abroad. Most European countries were under the rule of the Nazis.

Historical facts: The Communist Party of Yugoslavia, led by the Croatian communist Josip Broz Tito, "a blue-eyed man on a white horse", organized an armed struggle against the German and Italian invaders and against extremist groups of Serbian and Croatian nationalists who fought among themselves. Serbian peasant Mitar Tarabich (1829-1899) predicted the key events of the 19th and 20th centuries with incredible accuracy. Before our eyes, his prophecies for the 21st century are beginning to come true...

Mitar Tarabich (1829-1899), an illiterate peasant from the Serbian village of Kremna, had prophetic visions from time to time. Being a religious man, he talked about his "visions of the future" to the parish priest Zakhary Zakharich (1836-1918), who wrote down the stories in a notebook.

After the death of the priest, the notebook was kept in his family.

In 1943, when the village was occupied by the Bulgarian army, the notebook almost burned down in a fire. Today it is kept as a family heirloom by the great-grandson of Zakharich, Dejan Malenkovic.

Unlike the texts of Nostradamus (1503-1566), which are difficult to unambiguously decipher, Tarabich's prophecies are presented in a completely clear, colloquial language. They attracted wide attention at the beginning of the 20th century, when one after another, with incredible accuracy and consistency, his predictions began to come true.

Historical facts:

1918 - The collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In December 1918, a new state was proclaimed, officially called the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, but constantly torn apart by economic, social and political divisions between nationalist parties.

. “For several years we will live in peace, love and prosperity. But it won't last forever. Our people will be poisoned by the poison of hatred... More bloodshed... Horror! I don’t know when or where, but probably this hatred is to blame.”

Historical facts:

The predominance of Serbs in the government, the multiplicity of political parties and the denial of autonomy to Croats, Slovenes and other national minorities led to political unrest in the kingdom. Under the leadership of Stjepan Radić, the Croats and their allies increasingly opposed the centralized system and the dictates of the Serbs.

After a deputy of the national parliament from Montenegro mortally wounded Radić and two of his supporters, the Croats left parliament and formed their own regime with headquarters in Zagreb Before the threat of civil war, the Serbian king Alexander in January 1929 suspended the constitution of 1921, dissolved the parliament and all political parties and proclaimed a dictatorship of the government. Hoping to restore national unity, the king then abolished the traditional division of the country into provinces and renamed the state the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

Historical facts:

On October 9, 1934, a Macedonian terrorist associated with Croatian separatists killed King Alexander while he was in France on an official visit. His minor son Peter II became the new king of Yugoslavia. The government was administered on his behalf by a regency council headed by Prince Pavel Karageorgevich, a cousin of the late Alexander. Unpopular with the people, Paul was overthrown by the rebellious officers and escaped to England. In 1939 the Second World War began. In April 1941, the German army invaded Yugoslavia. The young king and government fled abroad. Most European countries were under the rule of the Nazis.

When Nazi Germany started World War II, Russia (USSR) remained neutral. On June 22, 1941, a three-million-strong German army invaded its territory, but was defeated. The head of the USSR was the leader of the Communist Party, Joseph Stalin.

Historical facts:

The Communist Party of Yugoslavia, led by the Croatian communist Josip Broz Tito, "a blue-eyed man on a white horse," organized an armed struggle against the German and Italian invaders and against extremist groups of Serbian and Croatian nationalists who fought among themselves. The soldiers of Tito's army wore red stars on their hats.

The first territory liberated by Tito's troops was the city of Uzhice and its environs. They resisted the Germans and Italians for exactly 73 days, after which they were forced to retreat across the Drina River, to Bosnia. The guerrilla war then engulfed the whole of Yugoslavia.

In May 1945, Germany was defeated by the allied armies of the USSR, the USA, Great Britain and France. By the end of that year, a unified Yugoslavia was restored. Tito rode into Belgrade on a white horse and made the royal palace his residence. Communist Yugoslavia annexed part of the territory of neighboring Italy.

Historical facts:

In 1948, Tito refused to follow orders from Stalin, the man who had politically prepared him in the 1920s and then sent him to Yugoslavia to organize a local communist party. The USSR condemned Tito, accusing him of gross deviation from the fundamental principles of communism. Tito carried out a merciless purge of the party and executed opposition leaders In 1953, after Stalin's death, the USSR renewed friendly relations with Yugoslavia, but with a great deal of distrust due to its cooperation with democratic capitalist countries.

In December 1945, the United Nations (UN) was formed. Articles 33-38 of its charter authorized the Security Council to promote the resolution of international conflicts by peaceful means, such as negotiations, mediation, conciliation, arbitration, legal settlement.

In 1946-1970. dozens of countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America gained independence.

In 1947, the state of Israel was formed in the Middle East. In 1967, the so-called Six Day War broke out between Israel and neighboring Arab countries. In 1975, a civil war broke out in Lebanon involving Iran, Syria, Palestine, and Israel.

The reforms carried out in 1965 and 1966 produced a real economic revolution in Yugoslavia. In 1957, the total volume of industrial production increased by 70 percent compared to 1953, and in 1966 it doubled compared to 1957. Yugoslavia experienced a period of unprecedented economic prosperity. Everyday life included cars, buses, passenger planes, including those belonging to their own Yugoslav airline.
