Take the first bottle and a utility knife. It should be sharp. Cut off the neck from it, stepping back a few centimeters from the top.

Bottle preparation

First of all, you need to work on the bottles accordingly. To make a simple broom you will need a frame. It is made from a two-liter bottle as follows. So, the process begins with preparing the required number of bottles. After all, a lot will depend on where the broom will be used - on the street, in the house for wiping, for example, dust from distant places, and so on. In principle, the base is ready. All that remains is to work on the cuttings. If there is no new one, no problem. There are a lot of broken tools, shovels, hoes or rakes on the farm. Therefore, having found a cutting suitable for these purposes, you should try it on to the diameter of the neck of the bottle, placed on top of all the others. If it suddenly doesn’t fit, don’t worry either - by cutting the cutting with a sharp knife, you can easily fit it and insert it.

But, if you do not nail the bottle to the handle, the broom will quickly become unusable. Therefore, armed with a hammer and a suitable nail, you need to nail the neck to the handle. Here, by the way, the process will also be very difficult. Why? Because the neck is very dense at the base, as we have already written, and the wood itself (the stem) is also hard. That is, you need to pierce two dense materials.
