The Church has long had a tradition of serving prayers “For the healing of the sick,” which can also be joined by a prayer to the Mother of God for health. As a merciful Mother, the Most Pure Virgin conveys to the Lord the petitions of loved ones for the healing of an ill family member.
One pious monk had a vision: many Angels and saints standing at the Throne of God. But among them he did not see the Mother of God. “Lord, where is the Most Pure One?” - the monk was surprised. “She walks the earth, healing the sick, clothing the poor and comforting the mourning,” answered the Lord. The plot of this parable is depicted on the icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow”: the Mother of God extends her most pure hands to the unfortunate people around her.
The Church also venerates other icons in which prayers are offered to the Mother of God for health: Healer, All-Tsarina, Deliverer, Quick to Hear, etc.

Healing of Seraphim of Sarov
The famous Russian saint St. Seraphim of Sarov more than once received the mercy of the Most Holy Theotokos.

Prayer for the health of a sick child
As many religious ascetics and mystics testify, children not only have better sensitivity to subtle energies, but are also more susceptible to influences of a non-material nature. Any problems with a child’s health can often be associated with the evil eye, the envy of other people, or damage caused.

If any prayers are difficult to remember, then you should first read them from a piece of paper, and then try to recite them by heart.
Nevertheless, Memorizing prayers is not a requirement for any effectiveness. These formulas were originally created in such a way as to help tune in to a certain mood; they allow people who find it difficult to formulate words to express their own desire in the most optimal way.
At the same time, you should not repeat prayers mechanically and as a kind of rhyme, the repetition of which brings some result, you need to pray, that is, put something into your words.
You should not distort the prayers, but if you want, you can change some words to ones that are more understandable and convenient for you, if such changes allow you to pray better. Some old words are not always clear to you, so no one requires you to memorize these words. Moreover, if you are better at praying in your own words, you can do just that.
If we ask something from God and at the same time do not sacrifice anything ourselves, then our request is not worth much. If I sit with folded hands and say: “My God, I ask You, heal such and such a sick person,” and at the same time I do not make any sacrifice, then I am just saying Nice words. If I have love, if I have a sacrifice, then Christ, seeing them, will fulfill my request - of course, if it benefits another. Therefore, when people ask you to pray for a sick person, tell them to pray too, or at least try to get rid of their shortcomings.
