Rusal begins to identify the best projects of the Rusal Territory program. Press releases Rusala Territory results

RUSAL announces the beginning of the examination of project applications received for the RUSAL Territory competition. In 2018, 410 projects are applying for financial support from the company, the best of which can receive grants of up to 7 million rubles.

The examination consists of three stages in full-time and correspondence formats. First, applications will be evaluated by a competitive jury, which includes specialists in the field of social design, management, education and architecture, regional and Russian experts in the non-profit sector, representatives of enterprises and the Center for Social Programs of RUSAL, as well as winners of the company's grant competitions from previous years.

Simultaneously with the absentee evaluation of applications, an open online voting is taking place on the platform until March 19, thanks to which everyone will be able to get acquainted with the projects and choose the most significant and important initiatives. Last year, 60 thousand Internet users took part in such a vote.

From March 26 to March 31, the projects that receive the most points based on the results of the first two stages of the examination will be presented at public defenses with the participation of regional and federal experts and local residents. The final rating of projects is formed taking into account all three stages of assessment. The winners of the competition will be announced no earlier than April 20, 2018.

This year we expect greater attention, responsibility and objectivity from participants in the selection process for the best projects. Thanks to the increase in the grant amount, the scale of the initiatives has also increased, and the changes that will occur in cities as a result of their implementation directly depend on the participation of their residents. And the more people take part in voting and public advocacy, the higher the chances of supporting the most popular and important projects for citizens,” noted Vera Kurochkina, director of public relations at RUSAL.

Administration and organizational support of the program is provided by the Center for Social Programs (CPS) of RUSAL. Additional information about the competition can be found on the website: .
