What to cook from nothing?

In fact, there is always something in our refrigerators and shelves. Take a closer look. What's there? A couple of eggs, vegetable oil, a piece of dried cheese, half a jar of jam, a stale loaf, a single potato or sausage. The set of products may, of course, differ, but at least everyone has something for sure.

And what can you cook from this - what can you cook from nothing? It turns out a lot.

What to cook from nothing if you have a stale loaf, an egg, water, butter and sour milk?

For example, make a wonderful fruit lazy pie. Exactly. We will need:

  • stale loaf
  • egg (but you can do without it)
  • jam
  • water or sour milk 1 cup
  • mold lubrication oil

Cooking method:

  1. Take a baking dish and grease it vegetable oil, margarine, cream. Which one do you have now?
  2. Cut the loaf into slices, as for sandwiches. Soak the loaf pieces in warm water or milk.
  3. Place half of the slices in the pan.
  4. Lubricate the loaf layer with jam and spread the top of the pie with the rest of the loaf.
  5. Next, if you have an egg, beat it with the remaining milk or water.
  6. Pour over the pie and place in the oven for 15-20 minutes. The pie will turn out lush and satisfying.

This recipe is universal and will save you in any situation. Anything can be used as a filling: sprats, canned fish in oil, cheese, boiled potatoes, minced meat, stewed meat, cottage cheese, etc. It depends solely on what is in the house and your imagination.

What to cook from scratch if you have potatoes?

If you have potatoes, at least a couple, then you can cook potato cutlets.

Grind the boiled potatoes in a blender with an egg and a couple of pieces of stale loaf. Add salt, form into cutlets and fry in vegetable oil.

If you have sausage and potatoes, you can cook light soup. Finely chop the sausage and potatoes, add water and cook until the potatoes are almost pureed. Don't forget to add salt. And the soup is ready.

What if it’s lying around in the closet? a jar of canned fish, then this will be a whole fish soup.

Chop the potatoes very finely, boil until tender and place the canned food in the same pan. Boil and can be served.

You can make fish croquettes from canned fish and boiled potatoes.

Drain the oil from the fish and mash it with a fork. Boiled potatoes, grate on a fine grater. Mix fish, potatoes, egg. Grate the stale loaf on a medium grater until it looks like breadcrumbs. You can dry them in a dry hot frying pan.
