Ghosts come to me.

But they also come to each of you. There is not a single person to whom this would not happen, because all our departed loved ones are actually with us. Maybe they are here with you, now, as you read these lines.

My job is to see them and hear them and, as their proxy, convey to people what they want to convey. After all, these ghosts are those people who once lived, whose particles you carry in your genes, your ancestors.

And they need one thing that only the living can give them - memory.

“They can give” – and, in fact, they should.

After all, memory is the tribute of respect that we all must pay to those who brought us into this life.

To those who passed on to us our character traits, talents, and behavior patterns. Build, eye color, hair.

In many ways - fate.

They are there to give us strength. Teach us to cope with difficulties, protect us from mistakes, help us achieve what we - and they - want.

What happens when we push away their help? When do we think that there were not millions of years of a series of lives and loves of those people who led to our birth?

In a situation where descendants cannot draw strength and experience from previous generations, they have no strength left to continue the family line. This can happen for various reasons. Sometimes a person may begin to consider himself more successful, intelligent and educated than his “illiterate” ancestors. Sometimes ancestors are forgotten as a result of revolutions, fratricidal wars, and disasters. Sometimes it becomes scary to have the “wrong” relative or ancestor. And they “forget” about him.

This means they renounce.

Renouncing one's roots is the most harmful thing a living being can do.

What happens if you renounce half (a quarter, an eighth, or even all) of your genes?

Imagine a tree that has “renounced” its roots!

This is a common problem of modern civilization. Having turned towards material goods, pleasures, and fun, people turned away from their history, and therefore from themselves, creating a huge thirst in their souls. I thirst for the authentic, I thirst for confidence in the correctness of the present and future life - mine and my children, which can only be based on a solid foundation.

We try to quench this thirst with endless entertainment, travel, exotic cultures, other worlds, other people's fascinating destinies, passions, fashions, “spirituality.”

But is it possible to replace simple and real water with something to feed living things?

When the power that has flowed for millions of years from ancestor to descendant turns out to be unclaimed and encounters an obstacle, it is like a dam on a river. There is as much water as you like, but you are in the desert. Your garden, which you cultivated without sparing yourself, is drying up. And if the water pressure becomes too strong and the dam breaks, the flow will be so strong that you will most likely simply choke.

After all, this thirst that torments modern man can be quenched only with mother’s milk, father’s parting words, grandmother’s blessing, grandfather’s advice.

The power that comes from the soil, from the roots.

This is knowledge that is intuitively understandable to all living beings, which “reasonable man” risks ignoring.

Knowing your family system, how a person can draw strength from his family and how to behave correctly so that the connection with the family is not interrupted, but strengthens over time, will be useful for any person.

After all, a family can give not only a strong family and good children, but also a career, money, social status, and successful personal fulfillment.

Or, conversely, a family can take away, destroy, force them to repeat the mistakes of their ancestors or pay their debts. Sometimes it's hard to resist what we're being pushed towards. blood of ancestors,– especially when you don’t realize what’s happening. Often inexplicable from the point of view common sense the actions that a person performs are explained precisely by the tasks that he needs to solve as a descendant, and if he does not understand the conditions of this task, then solving it, of course, turns out to be much more difficult, if not impossible. If the negative information recorded in the family program is not changed, then it will affect all subsequent generations. There is something that a person is simply destined for. But in every family there was always someone first.

The race, like all living things on Earth, must change in order to remain alive. And these changes should be for the benefit of the members of the clan. What conditions a person finds himself in largely depends on the actions of his ancestors. But what you do, what choice of life you make, in which direction you change your race - it depends only on you.

In any political system, in any economic situation, in any cultural environment, the unchanging truth is that you are someone's descendant. And - someone's ancestor.

Ask yourself, what kind of ancestor will you become for your descendants? Will you be the one whom they will try to forget and who will be considered the cause of all the troubles happening in the family; or those who will be thanked, of whom they will be proud, whose work they will continue? Who will your grandchildren and great-grandchildren want to be like? What conditions will those who follow you find themselves in?

But to change the course of fate, you need a lot of strength. And a lot of understanding.

Human life itself, fate - relationships with other people, work, wealth, health - are inextricably linked with that elusive human thing called “psychology”. And psychology, in turn, is inextricably linked with the family (that is, upbringing) and the entire family system in general (that is, genes).

It is no coincidence that many psychological movements that arose in the 20th century (for example, psychoanalysis, systemic-family constellations, psychogenealogy) are based precisely on the connection of an individual with his family, his ancestors, and many modern psychological techniques come closely to shamanic practices. With all the faith in Scientific research and evidence, modern man cannot completely discard the traditions polished over centuries, so that his life and the life of his children are not subject to distortion and disharmony.

This book will contain many references to folk customs, to various traditional cultures. This is not only a tribute to the culture of our ancestors, but also effective tool. I am inclined to trust experience that has been around for many thousands of years. Man in tradition was in harmony with the Universe, with nature and with his essence, and knew how to draw strength from the external and internal world.

People who have maintained a connection with nature (including their own nature) also maintain a connection with power. In tradition, any person regularly came into contact with the sacred, turned to the spirits of his ancestors, and performed rituals that influenced reality.

Understanding the mechanism of influence of the generic system on a person is important for everyone, and this is especially important for those who have some magical abilities or ambition. In the shamanic tradition, the first thing to do is to establish a relationship with the spirit of the ancestor, because he must become a guide to the world of spirits in general. And the very study of how energy circulates among people and how the forces of life and death work, it is advisable to begin with what you can observe closely and carefully, that is, with your own ancestral system. This is especially important in the modern situation, when the transmission of magical tradition has in many cases been interrupted and there is a mixture of different traditions around, often contradicting each other. In this case, great personal power combined with ignorance can lead to serious mistakes that cause harm not only to the person himself, but also to his loved ones and his descendants.

My name is Victoria Rydos, and I am a priestess of the ancestor cult.

I am not able to convey to every person living on Earth what the spirits want to convey to him.

But I can convey to all people what our ancestors want to convey to us, to all of us. Through this book. To remind people of what they often forget - that a person always has enough strength to solve any, even the most terrible and seemingly insoluble problems. You just need to know how to find these forces, where to get them.

True strength can only be found within yourself. Appreciate the wonderful power you already have.

Your strength is in your blood.

The blood you received from your ancestors.

Blood Power

In this chapter I will talk about what the cult of ancestors is, why it is needed and how to observe it.

How memorial rituals were performed in the past and how they should be performed now.

This is the largest, most complex and most important chapter.

We all want to live our lives meaningfully and happily. “Build a house, plant a tree, raise a son.” Become a respected person. Realize your abilities and talents. Achieve what we dream of. And each of us has enough energy to achieve everything and live the life we want.

If a person feels that he does not have enough energy, this usually means that the person simply does not know how to use it. We can get the most energy from our kind. If there were many people in a family who lived their lives wisely and happily, and there is no bad heredity in it, such a family can be considered especially revered, because it gives its descendants all the strength that has accumulated in it for centuries. If you are lucky enough to be born into this family, treat this gift wisely! Remember that you have great power that you need to increase and continue.

But what if the clan is weak (and this happens when there are suicides in the clan, unborn children, excluded family members, the damned) and does not give a person strength, but even seems to take it away? Often in this case, a person seems unable to begin to live his own destiny and endlessly deals with generic tasks.

Often, birth problems lead to difficulties that arise out of nowhere that a person is not able to solve: lack of joy in life, suicidal thoughts, physical or mental illness, difficulties in creating one’s own family (unrequited love, problems with a spouse and children, infertility). And if a person seems to be doing everything right, but life is still not going well, this is a sign that problems are of his own nature.

And what to do then - complain about the unfair fate that forced a person to be born into such a family?

Each person has his own life path and the goal that he must achieve. And we all have the conditions in which we find ourselves while walking this path. This can be thought of as a weight on your leg: you have some task that you are performing, but at the same time you are not completely free, you have some kind of complexity. But even in sports, these weights are hung for a reason. This is done to ensure that the result is better; to pump up certain muscles, for example.

About the same thing happens in fate. The first reaction to some difficulty is, of course, irritation. After all, this is unfair! Why did this misfortune fall on me - being born into a family with many problems? In a family in which a serious genetic disease is inherited, or in which every second person is an alcoholic, or in which their own loved ones were tortured and killed? Do I really have no personal mission on Earth other than to deal with the problems of my ancestors - problems that, more often than not, they created for themselves?

And only a person whose spiritual level is already high enough to understand the non-accidentality of everything that happens sees that the difficult conditions in which he finds himself are not an unfortunate accident, but the conditions necessary for him personally, for his growth and for the creation of his own destiny.

The Universe does not make mistakes; it gives us exactly the conditions that we need. Everyone has a time when the Universe tests how well a person has learned life's lessons. These are tests that a person must overcome in order to reach a new level or confirm that he is rightfully at his level. And one of these tests can be working with ancestral karma. Maybe in one of the previous incarnations it was you who created that karmic knot, which led to difficulties in the family, so now your task is to atone for your mistake by correcting or suffering for it. It is difficult, almost impossible, to get out of negative generic programs simply by at will, they can only be healed. And in every family there was always someone who did something first.

Maybe you will become the “first strong one” in your family - the person who will change better life all cities?

Ancestor cult

Ancestor cult lies at the basis of all spiritual teachings and religions. It might be called a "household religion" (or "family religion") because it is the veneration of the dead ancestors of a particular family. The spirits of ancestors are those inhabitants of another world who are initially friendly towards a person and are ready to patronize him. They, as the most important guardians of the family, are able to give their descendants help and protection with all the power inherent in spirits. The main thing is to be able to accept this help; and this is exactly what a person learns by performing rituals of honoring ancestors - correct behavior and attitude towards his family.

The cult of veneration of ancestors is a whole worldview in which man is part of the harmonious system of the world, part of nature. Knowing this can save us from many mistakes and give us a lot of value.

After all, the enormous importance of ancestors can only be understood based on knowledge of biology. Our ancestors are present (one might say resurrected) in us in the form of genes. We are made from their meat and their blood, everything they experience - actions, sensations, thoughts - is passed on to us, and then to our children. And we must pay tribute to our ancestors, at least for the fact that they survived and gave us life: after all, if they had not existed, we would not have existed either.

Man is not only a biological being. People do not rely on instincts alone; culture is of great importance to us, which is the main system, thanks to it we pass on our experience to our descendants. This exists both at the level of universal human culture and at the level of the person himself and his loved ones. And the culture of honoring ancestors is what connects all people. After all, no matter what faith you profess, you are someone’s descendant and, if you’re lucky, someone’s ancestor.

How can deceased ancestors help their living descendants? IN this moment scientific explanation for operating principle ancestor cult No.

We can use this only as a practical tool, getting results, but not understanding how this happens, whether this information and energy connection between generations is created using a genetic code or some other method about which we do not yet know anything definite.

The same thing happens not only in esotericism, but also in another science that studies the human soul, psyche, consciousness and behavior - psychology. For example, in systemic-family constellations, a psychological method discovered at the end of the 20th century by Bert Hellinger. In this method, the client's family history is described as a system that works according to certain laws. The arrangement itself takes place in a group, and the role of the client and members of his family are played by strangers who know nothing about his history. However, in the process of constellations, they unexpectedly begin to feel, think and act in the same way as the person they are replacing. This way the client receives information about the history of his family, understands the root of his life problems, and can influence all this. But how he received this knowledge is not explained. In the theory of systemic constellations there is the concept of a “knowing field,” but how this field works is not clear.

We can only continue the centuries-old traditions.

Of course, the cult of ancestors among different peoples has its own characteristics. However, universal features can be traced in all rituals, rites and traditions. After all, whatever one may say, this is a universal thing.

In China, the cult of ancestors still exists, being part of the official state religion. There it is believed that the spirit of the ancestor who did not receive the annual sacrifice dies and can no longer take care of its descendants, so the Chinese strictly observe rites of commemoration of ancestors. Respect for ancestors is so great there that there is even a belief that if you commit suicide, you can save your parents from their illnesses.

In modern Japan, the cult of ancestors is also very popular, and not only among the older generation, but also among young people. In Japanese holiday culture, there are many religious practices and rituals aimed at honoring ancestors.

When Muslims pray, they remember their ancestors up to the 7th generation. Among the Tatars and Bashkirs, the cult of ancestors developed as a synthesis of ancient ideas and Islamic traditions: the souls of the dead are in the other world, which is similar to life on Earth, therefore the deceased must be provided with everything necessary (food, tools, weapons), and on certain days the souls can appear alive in the form of a butterfly or bird.

In Hinduism, the cult of ancestors plays a large role, preserving many features of traditional Vedic rituals, while focusing on the doctrine of rebirth of souls.

Among the Slavs, the cult of ancestors was quite well developed. This can be judged at least by the fact that in Orthodoxy the veneration of ancestors is of greater importance than in other branches of Christianity. The cult of ancestors among the ancient Slavs was quite diverse; it includes not only the veneration of house spirits, but also the worship of the spirits of natural elements, and legends about mythical epic heroes. It is the core of the people's worldview, which arose on the basis of belief in the immortality of the soul.

Yes and in modern society We still have many traditions associated with our family. In Belarus, Slavic tribal rites and holidays associated with the veneration and remembrance of ancestors, “Grandfathers” (or “Dzyady”), are still preserved. Many customs and traditions come from the cult of ancestors and clan. For example, the white color of the bride’s dress symbolizes not so much purity (as is often believed), but rather mourning: after all, the bride, as it were, dies in her maiden role and is reborn as a wife in a new family. And the custom of carrying a young wife over the threshold is connected with the fact that previously ancestors were buried under the threshold of the house so that they would protect the family from strangers, which is why it was necessary to present the wife to the ancestors as “one of our own.” The word “chur” is probably associated with the veneration of ancestors. The very origin and traditional use of this word is not very clear; researchers explain it in different ways. Folklorists of the 19th century believed that “Chur” (or, in the Old Slavonic form, “Shchur”) was the name Slavic god home, the first ancestor, guarding the borders of ancestral lands. A. N. Afanasyev deduces the origin of the word “chur” from the Sanskrit root meaning “to burn”: one can recall, for example, Russian word“SMOKING” (sounds “ h" And " To" in Slavic dialects can change, for example, “smoke” and “cense”, “rest” and “peace”, and so on), as well as the names of materials with which you can light a fire: “ChURban”, “ChURka”. Gradually, the word, originally associated with the veneration of fire and the hearth, symbolizing the maintenance of the life of the clan, began to denote the presence of ancestral spirits in the house. In this case, the saying “Forget me!” means a request for protection addressed to the founder of the clan. This version is supported by the word “ancestor” that has survived to this day.

According to another version, the word “chur” is associated with phallic symbolism, which also does not contradict the cult of the clan.

According to the third version, “chur” goes back to the Greek word meaning “lord, lord,” and means “God forbid.”

In general, this word denotes some kind of line, line, boundary, some kind of prohibition, condition. That is, for example, the word “too much” means a violation of some trait. Quite often, deceased family members were buried precisely at borders, on the sides of roads, fields, under the threshold of a house, so that they would protect their descendants. And the spirits of ancestors themselves are for people a kind of border between the world of the living and the world of the dead, because for ordinary person this is the simplest and safest way to touch another world.

Spirit of the family

Each genus has a common energy-information field, which contains all its memory. This is like a “database” that contains all the information about ancestors: information about their biography, their actions, thoughts, feelings, hopes. But this is not reality itself, but the way in which it was experienced. A tragic event, experienced painfully, and the same event, experienced more calmly, are recorded there in different ways.

Each of us can “connect” to this database to get advice or some kind of help from loved ones. Most often, this happens unconsciously: we simply do something, without even realizing that this is exactly what one of our ancestors did. Of course, if a person understands what is happening, he can use information from the family memory more effectively.

This “database” is “ spirit of the family».

This is one example of what is called “egregor” in esoteric theories.

An egregor is an energy-informational entity that arises from the thoughts and feelings of people united by something and can subsequently influence each of them. We can say that this is a collective psyche or spirit that is fueled by the attention (thoughts, feelings, emotions) of people. There are many different egregors, both global (for example, “Good” and “Evil,” “Life” and “Death”) and smaller ones. A person can be included in many different egregors. What is prohibited by one egregor may, on the contrary, be required by another, and a person who receives several different orders at the same time may feel “dual” and contradictory in his actions. One of the tasks of a person is to coordinate the desires of different egregors, to harmonize them.

Each egregor has its own goal, which it strives to achieve with the help of the people included in it. To do this, the egregor gives a person the opportunity to realize this: resources, abilities, luck, material and emotional rewards, protection, and so on. If a person does not act in a way that is beneficial to the egregor, the egregor can take away these opportunities from the person. A person can change an egregor, but to do this, he needs to take a high role in the egregor, and also receive some kind of support - for example, from a stronger egregor.

The connection between a person and the egregor (spirit) of his kind is one of the strongest; it protects a person from some other, alien egregors, which can become destructive for a person, can take away his energy and give nothing in return. But if a person’s connection with his family is weak or absent altogether, he becomes defenseless before them.

If a person does not feel part of his clan, he will most likely psychologically feel like an orphan throughout his life and will strive to make up for this “psychological orphanhood” in some other way. After all, every creature has a huge need for accessories, the need to have a space where he will be his own.

Each spirit of the genus has its own character, which distinguishes it from all others. This is the culture of the family that develops from generation to generation: family traditions, rules, rituals. This is the experience and information that members of the clan receive while living their lives; this is what unites the clan and allows it to maintain its integrity. The special character of the spirit of the clan is developed with the participation of every person who has ever been part of this clan, and its strength depends on their work and on the time during which the clan exists. The spirit of the clan influences each member of the clan. If a family has a strong character of its own, then most likely there is some specific program (the goal of the family), so the descendants of this family intuitively know from the very beginning which direction they need to go and what tasks to solve. First of all, gender is a protection, so it itself does not particularly welcome any drastic changes or innovations. The spirit of the clan perceives each individual person entering it as one of the pieces of a mosaic that adds up to the overall picture.

Initially, a family is a collision of different egregors: egregors of childbirth on the part of the husband and wife, the egregor of the family itself, personal egregors of people (egregors of their professions, for example). In addition, all this is influenced by larger egregors, such as the egregor of humanity, states, and egregors of religious tradition.

Even if a husband and wife are very similar people who belong to the same race, the same social environment, have the same profession, hobbies and hobbies, they still come from different clans, each of which has its own characteristics and family traditions. And in some cases they will have to coordinate their behavior with the conflicting demands of egregors. For example, a wife will need to make a choice: cook borscht the way it is customary in her own family, or the way her husband is used to, that is, according to his mother’s recipe. This is, of course, a very simple example - but what if the husband and wife belong to different religious traditions or different social classes? In some cases, the contradictions between egregors are so great that people never manage to find mutual language. This can happen not only with spouses, but also between different generations. For example, in a family of hereditary thieves, a child is born who decides to go to work in law enforcement. Of course, he feels like a stranger in his family and does not feel support from him - just as his family considers him a traitor. And his own children will feel both the influence of his upbringing and the “call of blood,” that is, the temptation to follow the path that was trodden by many generations of ancestors. This happens even in cases where the child was not told anything about them: the person seems to remember the history of his family without knowing about it.

This is the basis for many cases where a person repeats an event that happened to his ancestor, without remembering the event itself - and sometimes even without objective knowledge of it.

As Anne Anseline Schutzenberger writes in The Ancestor Syndrome, President Kennedy himself refused to put a bulletproof top on his car on November 22, 1963, “forgetting” about the threat of death and the fact that his great-grandfather died on November 22, 1858. : “he forgot about this event, but did not forget to take risks.”

If it so happens that in the history of a person’s clan there were many influences that pulled his ancestors in different directions, he may not feel his clan spirit, because instead he hears in his clan (and therefore in himself, that is, in his personality) only disputes between different parties who cannot come to reconciliation. Then finding some kind of compromise will be not only a person’s personal task, but also his duty to his ancestors.

For example, in the case of crimes in the family, such a compromise may not be hushing up or condemning these events, but awareness of the weakness of character and will of the ancestor who became a criminal, and his difficult life circumstances - that is, pity and sympathy.

Therefore, a person needs to know what happened in his family in order to understand what affects him and how.

The strength of the spirit of the family is nourished by the attention of descendants and their memory. Therefore, it is good and correct to store photographs of your ancestors and know your ancestry. The strength of the clan increases when relatives, even distant ones, maintain a good relationship and are ready to help each other; when descendants know the life history of previous generations.

After all, ancestors exist as long as they are remembered. And if you don’t remember them, don’t arrange memorial meals in their honor, the connection with your ancestors will gradually weaken. The race itself will weaken.

These holidays are celebrated several (three to six) times a year. According to beliefs, on these days the dead (grandfathers, souls, parents, the dead) come to their homes for a funeral dinner. – Note. ed.

Maybe in one of the previous incarnations it was you who created the karmic knot that led to difficulties in the family, so now your task is to atone for your mistake by correcting it or suffering for it. It is difficult, almost impossible, to get out of negative ancestral programs simply of your own free will; they can only be healed. And in every family there was always someone who did something first.

Maybe you will become the “first strong one” in your family - the person who will change the life of the entire family for the better?

Currently there is no scientific explanation for the operating principle ancestor cult No.

And in modern society we still have many traditions associated with family. Folklorists of the 19th century believed that “Chur” (or, in the Old Slavonic form, “Shchur”) is the name of the Slavic god of the hearth, the ancestor who guards the borders of ancestral lands. A. N. Afanasyev deduces the origin of the word “chur” from the Sanskrit root meaning “to burn”: one can recall, for example, the Russian word “SMOKE” (sounds “ h" And " To" in Slavic dialects can change, for example, “smoke” and “cense”, “rest” and “peace”, and so on), as well as the names of materials with which you can light a fire: “ChURban”, “ChURka”.

And the spirits of ancestors themselves are for people a kind of border between the world of the living and the world of the dead, because for an ordinary person this is the simplest and safest way to touch another world.

In some cases, the contradictions between egregors are so great that people never manage to find a common language.

The strength of the clan increases when relatives, even distant ones, maintain good relations and are ready to help each other; when descendants know the life history of previous generations.

After all, ancestors exist as long as they are remembered. And if you don’t remember them, don’t arrange memorial meals in their honor, the connection with your ancestors will gradually weaken. The race itself will weaken.

Ancestor cult. The power of our blood

Victoria Rydos

“The Cult of Ancestors” is the first and very long-awaited book by the winner of the 16th season of the “Battle of Psychics” Victoria Raidos. The author talks about how the actions of distant ancestors continue to influence our destiny. And it answers the most important question: is it possible to change what, in the most literal sense, is “written in one’s destiny.”

The ability to learn from mistakes and improve is the basis of both biological and spiritual evolution. One of the most important human tools that helps to do this is conscious attention to the plots of one’s destiny. This is also very important in relation to the history of the family: immediate ancestors influence a person automatically, and in order to somehow change their influence, you must first understand it, but the influence of distant ancestors and the help they can give is almost impossible to feel and receive without knowledge about their fate and about themselves.

Usually, in order to act correctly, you need to have a good understanding of who you are and where you are. Victoria is convinced that this understanding largely comes from knowledge of one’s family, the history of one’s ancestors. The power that has been passed on for centuries from one generation to the next, which is located in your physics and psyche, develops into certain plots that influence your very life.

If you learn to see and change these stories, you will learn to change your destiny.

Introduction

Ghosts come to me.

It is my job to see and hear them.

Sometimes it can be difficult to resist what the blood of our ancestors pushes us to do, especially when you are not aware of what is happening. Often, actions that are inexplicable from the point of view of common sense that a person performs are explained precisely by the tasks that he needs to solve as a descendant, and if he does not understand the conditions of this task, then solving it, of course, turns out to be much more difficult, if not impossible.

It is no coincidence that many psychological movements that arose in the 20th century (for example, psychoanalysis, systemic family constellations, psychogenealogy) are based precisely

on the connection of an individual with his family, his ancestors, and many modern psychological techniques come close to shamanic practices. With all the faith in scientific research and evidence, modern man cannot completely discard the traditions polished over centuries, so that his life and the life of his children are not subject to distortion and disharmony.

This book will contain many references to folk customs and different traditional cultures. This is not only a tribute to the culture of our ancestors, but also an effective tool.

Understanding the mechanism of influence of the generic system on a person is important for everyone, and this is especially important for those who have some kind of magical abilities or ambitions.

You can imagine this like a weight on your leg: you have some task that you are performing, but at the same time you are not completely free, you have some kind of complexity.

Ancestor cult

The cult of ancestors lies at the basis of all spiritual teachings and religions. It might be called a "household religion" (or "family religion") because it is the veneration of the dead ancestors of a particular family. The spirits of ancestors are those inhabitants of another world who are initially friendly towards a person and are ready to patronize him. They, as the most important guardians of the family, are able to give to their

At the moment, there is no scientific explanation for the principle of operation of the cult of ancestors.

And in modern society we still have many traditions associated with family. In Belarus, Slavic ancestral rites and holidays associated with the veneration and remembrance of ancestors, “Grandfathers?” (or "Dziady"). Folklorists of the 19th century believed that “Chur” (or, in the Old Slavonic form, “Shchur”) is the name of the Slavic god of the hearth, the ancestor who guards the borders of ancestral lands. A. N. Afanasyev deduces the origin of the word “chur” from the Sanskrit root meaning “to burn”: one can recall, for example, the Russian word “SMOKE” (the sounds “ch” and “k” in Slavic dialects can change, for example “smoke” and “cense”, “rest” and “peace” and so on), as well as the names of materials with which you can light a fire: “ChURban”, “ChURka”.

And the spirits of ancestors themselves appear to people

a kind of border between the world of the living and the world of the dead, because for an ordinary person this is the simplest and safest way to touch another world.

This “database” is the “spirit of the family.”

After all, every creature has a huge need to belong, the need to have a space where he will be his own.

In some cases, the contradictions between egregors are so great that people never manage to find a common language.

Therefore, it is good and correct to store

photos of ancestors and know your ancestry.

The path of development of the spirit

Here we need to make a short digression and talk about the connection between the cult of ancestors and the doctrine of reincarnation.

I see it this way.

There is some kind of Supreme Mind, or God, or Absolute - I prefer to call it the Source, or Arche (arche is a concept in ancient Greek philosophy, meaning beginning, source, basic principle, primacy, first cause). This is a kind of field in which everything is there - and at the same time there is nothing; All we know for sure about it is that it is something fundamentally unimaginable and incomprehensible. For all that exists, he is Perfection, Truth, Bliss, Law, Energy Center, Eternal Life and so on, but since this is something absolutely unthinkable for us, all these characteristics will be conditional. We may call it Intelligence, but in reality it is not intelligent in the sense that we are intelligent, because it does not have human consciousness. We can call it Bliss, but of course it is not the same bliss that we could experience on Earth. We can call it Eternal Life - but it is a life that includes death too. Therefore, you need to understand that our ideas about the Source of life and another world are largely our fantasies, based on the image of ourselves. And not because we are stupid. But simply because we are not able to conceive of something absolutely different. There is nothing there that our consciousness and our feelings can grasp, because consciousness and feelings do not exist there - in our understanding.

There are clots of energy that came out of the Source, Arche, and that carry a particle of it - this is spirit. Each spirit has a divine spark - that is, its message, its own and unique contribution to the overall picture of the Universe, a note that is woven into World Music. And there is also a desire to return to Arche, to merge with him, for this he needs to improve, develop, in order to fan this spark into a flame. But the spirit itself has nothing more.

In the world where the spirit comes from - where there is everything and at the same time there is nothing - everything is arranged absolutely differently than in our world. Our physical laws do not apply there; space and time are structured differently there. Therefore, the spirit cannot develop in that world: there are no conditions for this, no difficulties to overcome, no mistakes to learn from. In fact, it is even impossible to simply change there, because there is no time in our understanding; How can you change if you constantly exist in one moment?!

That is why the physical world and the very possibility of being born here are so important for the spirit. Since there is time and matter here, evolution is also possible, so the spirit can improve here. On the physical level it is evolution, and on the spiritual level it is karma.

The development of the spirit begins with the life of simple forms, such as crystals. Gradually, the spirit, life after life, mastering new stages, moves along the evolutionary ladder, to plants, to animals, to humans, and so on. Spirit and soul are not the same thing. The soul is what the spirit acquires in the world of the living, its shell. The soul is connected with the very personality of a living being, with his emotions, experiences, thoughts, it can change. And the spirit is that spark of God that is present in all living things, that unknown particle of Eternity, which we have little influence on. We can only help him improve: just as a woman’s womb bears a fruit, so the soul bears a spirit.

Just as that world is Other for us, and for the spirit the physical world is Other. The spirit goes into the physical body in much the same way as the living goes into death.

On Earth, the spirit is only a guest. One might say, a student gaining the necessary experience here.

After each life, the spirit returns to another world a little different, changed, ideally one step closer to perfection, although it happens the other way around. But – an important point – the spirit itself, being in another world, cannot comprehend the experience it received on Earth. Simply because spirit is energy, and energy does not have consciousness as such (it doesn’t even have a brain). The spirit gains experience energetically, unconsciously, but cannot comprehend that its energetic state has become worse because it made a specific mistake in the physical world. And theoretically, in the next incarnation he can do the same, worsening his condition even more and moving away from perfection. At a purely biological level, this is regulated by evolution; the energy of the spirit manifests itself as the inherent desire of all living things to continue, to survive, to leave offspring - that is, the impulse of life, which is largely automatic. If an individual behaves inappropriately, it is discarded, otherwise its entire species will become extinct. Of course, at levels below the human, the “wrong” behavior of a spirit is not “dislike for one’s neighbor” or “disrespect for the Divine,” but simply behavior that is not appropriate to its position. For example, it would be a mistake for a spirit in the body of a wolf to consider itself a hare and behave accordingly. And the wolf pack with the entire surrounding world will quickly explain to him that he is mistaken, so this spirit will have to live his next life at a lower level (in the body of a hare, perhaps).

But the transition of the spirit into human existence is a fundamentally different level, and the situation becomes more complicated. A person gains a spiritual dimension, and karma (the causes and consequences of actions) and the state of his soul begin to play a big role for him. The development of the spirit, among other things, is the development of free will and responsibility for oneself. It is clear that a stone or a flower can be responsible for little, but a person has such an opportunity. The purely biological in a person fades into the background, and the development of the human spirit is influenced by his actions, which have little connection with his biology and instincts.

The mechanism for transmitting purely human experience is not so much biology, genes, but culture.

You may know that the fairy tale about Mowgli has a basis in reality: there have been quite a few cases in history when wild animals raised a child from infancy as if they were their own cubs. And in reality, such stories end much sadder than in literature. As a result, such people, even if they are taken away from animals in a nursery or adolescence and for many years they try to educate them as people - they forever remain internally animals. That is, in this case the child has Vital energy, he can survive in the world, but he will lose all human experience, and his soul, most likely, will no longer be human. At the same time, he retains all his genes and all the evolutionary experience accumulated by his ancestors, but he cannot use this, because the tool necessary for this is not transmitted automatically.

The spiritual dimension is not directly subject to biological and physical laws, it

must support itself. It exists and develops in the information field of the Earth, that is, in the space that humanity creates with its culture, thoughts, ideas, and so on. And in order for the spirit of life from life to continue its human existence and improvement, it needs access to this spiritual dimension and information field and to human experience.

But, in addition to access to universal human experience, he also receives access to his own experience, to the experience of his previous incarnations. The fact is that the spirit itself has no memory, it is just energy. Of course, his experience always remains with him and does not depend on culture, but this experience is energetic, unconscious, and it will not help the spirit to correctly build its further evolutionary path if it is not inscribed in the human spiritual dimension and information field. Human experience can only be in the human - in consciousness, in culture, and this is the tool that the spirit needs to improve in the human body. When incarnating again, the spirit must connect to the information field in order to take advantage of human experience.

When the spirit leaves this world after the death of a person, his soul remains here, in the information field. If the living forget about her, she disappears, if they remember, she continues to be here. The memory of it can be preserved even after the spirit is incarnated in a new body and receives a new soul. In this case, the spirit will have access to information about its previous incarnation, that is, an understanding of its experience, which will help it further improve its strengths and correct errors. The information field is formed by living people with their thoughts, which is why people strive to “remain in the memory of posterity” - this gives the spirit additional knowledge about itself. That is why the memory of our ancestors is so important. The memory of the living about the soul creates a connection between the spirit and the human world. If none of the living people think or remember about a deceased person, then his soul is deprived of a “record” in the information field of the Earth and the spirit loses its memory of itself. In this case, he cannot benefit from his experience, and he needs to live it over and over again in order to truly learn and move to the next level.

If an ancestor, for example, made some kind of mistake (sin), and his descendants “forgot” about it (in psychology this is usually called “repressed”), then this mistake will most likely be repeated in his further incarnations and in the family generally. But if the descendants consciously gained the experience that this was a bad act and it was better not to do it, they have the opportunity to influence the situation.

In all religions, there is an idea that the sinful soul of a deceased person can be prayed for if you sincerely ask for forgiveness for his sins. In this case, this means that you can harmonize the soul, show it what its mistake was. If the history of this ancestor is preserved in the memory of descendants, then his spirit, incarnating the next time, has a chance not to repeat this mistake, because he will already have this experience and he will understand what’s what. And if the ancestors have more spiritual experience, then the clan itself is stronger.

If the deceased person is completely forgotten, he will have no experience at all. In this case, his spirit will probably not remember what kind of family he was in, and he will have to begin his spiritual-human evolution anew. Such a spirit, most likely, will no longer exist below human consciousness, but it may have to be born in the body of a person completely without spiritual experience, with predominant animal instincts, in some undeveloped clan. If a spirit does not learn anything for several incarnations in a row, then at some point it may no longer be born in a human body. The clan from which the spirit leaves becomes weaker, because the spirit takes away some of the energy from it. This is how clans die out when there are no spirits left suitable for incarnation who remember that they are from this clan.

Everyone has probably heard that there are young souls and mature souls. Young souls have recently begun to incarnate, they are full of energy and enthusiasm, but since they have no experience at all, they make many mistakes and often behave in their lives like a bull in a china shop. Mature souls are a different matter - they already have more than one incarnation behind them, they have gained experience and wisdom, they see the hidden, understand the secret, they know how to behave so as not to violate universal harmony, or in what cases it is necessary to violate it. Their path of self-improvement is coming to an end, they are approaching the Source. And the task of a young soul is to grow up and gain this experience.

The question may arise, where do new young souls come from?

Firstly, the spirit gets the opportunity to be born in a human body if it successfully completes the previous evolutionary path.

Secondly, in fact, the spirit has no age, and the so-called young souls can turn out to be exactly the same as mature ones, but only with erased memory. While in the information field of the Earth there is a memory of a departed soul, which the living feed with their attention and thoughts about a person, the spirit can own this information, accumulate it with each new incarnation, thus gaining experience and wisdom. But if this memory disappears, then the score is reset and the spirit needs to start all over again, forgetting all its properties and skills acquired as a result of life lessons.

So, the spirit incarnates on Earth, because only here can it acquire a physical body with all the capabilities it gives, including consciousness, feelings, and memory. The memory of the spirit is here, in the information field of the Earth, which is why it is so important to remember the dead. The memory and attention of the living create energy similar to magnetic fields, which connects the spirit with its own history and with its descendants.

It should be noted that there is such a stereotype about spirits (including the spirits of ancestors) that they are like kind, but touchy ghosts who help descendants, but only if they thank and remember them.

In reality, this is, of course, not entirely true. Spirits - or in this case, rather souls - are energy. The living can see (or feel, or understand) them in different ways, including in the form of ghosts (phantoms), but that is not their essence. And the fact that spirits are offended if the living forget about them is also not entirely true. It is necessary to honor the spirits of ancestors not in order to stroke their pride, but because otherwise they will simply forget who they are and who they were, and, of course, they will forget about their descendants too. And all their life experience will be unclaimed.

The fact is that the ancestors are included in your genes and their experience and their energy can become yours if you take it - with the help of your attention directed towards them. In order to truly take advantage of the connection with your ancestors, you need to be aware of it. A connection with ancestors is not a purely mental connection, it is a connection with the real energy of people who once really lived. And of course, human consciousness, attention and culture are just a tool, but the tool that humanity has developed in the process of its evolution is the most effective at the moment.

In general, culture itself is the same cult of ancestors, but not specific ancestors of any specific person, but the ancestors of all humanity. After all, culture is respect for the experience of previous

generations, knowledge of those ideas and achievements that were made by people who lived before you.

And the reason why modern people for the most part have abandoned the commemoration of their ancestors and the knowledge of genealogies is the hope of moving from the cult of their ancestors to the cult of common ancestors, that is, culture.

But in fact we see that this does not work very well. All the same, people’s personal destinies are more influenced not by great people, but by their own ancestors.

Seven tribes

In many traditions, it is believed that a person should know seven generations of his family - that is, all 126 ancestors up to the seventh generation. There is an opinion that each generation of ancestors is responsible for some part of our life. Therefore, in order to understand how our family influences us, you need to know what all seven generations of our ancestors were like, what they did, what happened in their lives. Of course, the more distant an ancestor is in time, the more weakly a person feels his influence, but in one way or another all his ancestors influence a person’s fate.

I would like to note that in any case one cannot condemn one’s ancestors, even if there were some problems and sins in the family. Condemnation, resentment or gloating of descendants further complicates the karma of the family. We must remember that all our ancestors are our teachers, through them our family educates us. Don’t be happy if their problem bypassed you: after all, this may still manifest itself in your future descendants. If there are “fallen” ancestors in your family, you need to treat this with humility, pray for them and try so that their sin does not become your sin and the sin of your children.

So, how are the seven tribes of man’s race characterized and how do they influence him?

The first knee is the person himself. He is a descendant of the entire family tree, the seed on which ancestors pin their hopes of continuing the family line, the connection between the past and the future. A person is responsible to himself and to the Universe for his will; he is responsible for his soul and for all the choices that he makes in his life.

The second knee is the parents, father and mother (2 people). They are responsible for the direct upbringing of a person: for his behavior in the family, in society, for his habits, for his attitude towards his physical and emotional health, towards life itself. If a person has a difficult relationship with his father and mother, then his relationship with his entire family, with other people, with his homeland, and with the world in general will most likely be tense. Those relationships that a person has learned in his parents’ home, he will strive to embody in the family that he creates himself, with his spouse and children, and, therefore, pass on to his descendants.

The third generation is grandparents (4 people). It is known that talents are most often passed on through generations, that is, from grandparents. They are responsible for a person’s thinking, for his abilities and how he can realize them in life, for communication, contacts with other people, for his activity, energy, and reaction speed. Often this generation is responsible for a person's profession or hobby. Communication with grandparents teaches the child to communicate with the whole family: after all, the child takes mom and dad for granted, and few modern children find their great-grandparents. Therefore, it is the grandparents who show the child that his father and mother also have parents - thus, he sees this chain of human destinies going back into the past, which he must continue.

My talent was passed down to me from the third generation - from my grandmother. Once, at a critical moment in my life, she simply told me: “You are a witch,” and I realized that this was not a joke. And although it came as a shock and shock to me, I accepted this gift and began to develop it. That is, the influence of even such a close generation, the third, can be ambiguous. Of course, I had these abilities even before my grandmother’s confession, but I didn’t realize it, and only her words allowed me to understand this and fully realize it. Therefore, one should not think that the influence of ancestors occurs automatically. More precisely, it, of course, happens automatically, but in order to see this influence, learn to somehow manage it and use it positively in your life, you need awareness, at least on one side.

Most of your ancestors have already died; they cannot come to you in reality and tell you what talents, inclinations and problems you have. You can find out for yourself by studying their stories and turning to the spirit of the family for help. For example, if one of your distant ancestors was a blacksmith and you know nothing about him, but his talent was passed on to you, then there is a rather small probability that you will discover this talent simply intuitively, at least at a young age. Unless you were raised in an environment where blacksmithing was considered something worthy of attention or even just mentioned, you probably wouldn't give it much thought. Most likely, you should find out about this ancestor, become interested in his life, try to do what he did, realize that you have an innate talent for it - and only then will you have a truly strong connection with that ancestor and you will be able to draw energy from it.

The fourth generation is great-grandparents (8 people). They are responsible for developing a person’s attitude towards love, intimacy, joy, creativity and material well-being, teaching them how to earn money and manage it correctly, harmonize space, and see beauty. Great-grandparents create a person’s energetic protection, the ability to desire and achieve what they want. Problems in this generation can lead to a person becoming withdrawn, distrustful, unable to express feelings, and unable to enjoy life.

The fifth generation are the parents of the great-grandfathers (16 people). This generation is responsible for strength, determination, energy, the ability to act, achieve success, their goals, win, for sports and military success. This generation helps a person achieve results; if there were problems in this generation, then in life a person may have difficulty receiving the fruits of his own labor; he may suffer from cruelty or, conversely, cowardice and lack of will (his own or others).

The sixth generation is the grandfathers of the great-grandfathers (32 people). This is already a sacred generation, in which our spiritual guides are located. Grandfathers of great-grandfathers shape a person’s attitude to customs and established laws, including the customs and laws of the clan. This generation is responsible spiritual heritage, which a person is able to receive, as well as for his opportunity to be a spiritual mentor for other people.

The seventh generation is the great-grandfathers of the great-grandfathers (64 people). This is the foundation of the entire human race; this generation is associated with its life duty, retribution for the sins of the family, justice, the fate of the family and the possibility of its transformation, magical change, healing of the family. If a person can enlist the help of ancestors from this generation, he will be able to handle any task, he will be able to create his own destiny. It's great if you know something about the ancestors of this generation. Any information about them will make your connection with your family stronger and more fruitful. If you know where they lived, it will be very good to visit these places and live there. If you know what they did, it might be helpful to try this

The very concept of “ancestor cult” suggests that there should be some regular rites and rituals dedicated to the remembrance and veneration of ancestors.

I would like to note that this is not related to any particular religion. This is a universal human situation that is simply interpreted differently in different cultures. Everyone is free to be within the framework of any tradition - the one that was inherited (and has additional strength because of this), or the one that is chosen because it is close to you in spirit, or even none. After all, even if you are an atheist, a materialist and do not believe in any esotericism, you cannot deny that your ancestors influenced you, because you have their genes. And if you are aware of this influence, it will be easier for you to work with it and transform it in a direction beneficial to you.

The rituals I suggest in this chapter can be performed by anyone.

Some are more complex magical rituals I do not recommend that you do it on your own, without preparation and guidance, because it can be very dangerous: any magic is dangerous, and that which concerns death, the world of the dead and spirits (even those who are your departed relatives) is doubly so.

Therefore, if you want to learn how to perform serious magical rituals, you need to find a teacher; if you try to experiment on your own, you take a serious risk.

The first thing you need to do to work with the genus is to create a family tree of your family up to the seventh generation. The more you know about your ancestors, the better. It is advisable to know the names of ancestors (and also in honor of which ancestors the children were named), surnames (surnames can tell a lot), dates of births and deaths (it is important to see if there are any patterns or repetitions), what nationalities were in the family (this is especially it is important when there are warring nations in the family or nations that have been subjected to genocide), what your ancestors did (this can tell you what predispositions and talents you have), whether there are any problems that are passed down through the family.

This is the basis of all your work with the genus.

First, you need to collect all available information (from archives, from documents, from conversations with relatives) and compile your pedigree. It will be good if, in the process of working with the history of your family, you find like-minded people among your living relatives, with whom you will work on family history and at the same time on increasing the strength of your family. It would be correct to begin your work with the family by obtaining objective information. Of course, you need to trust your intuition, but it is important to keep in mind that human consciousness tends to simplify and embellish reality. And this can be not only your own consciousness, but also the consciousness of those people on whose stories you will rely. Often they can talk about an ancestor in an enthusiastic or, conversely, condemning manner simply because there is some kind of public idea of what is right, and this idea can change more than once. So, for example, in Soviet times they could be proud of their ancestors who actively participated in the formation of the new state system, but be ashamed of their noble roots and hush them up. But now the situation, on the contrary, is the opposite and it is considered prestigious to have a “noble”, not proletarian, origin. Therefore, when compiling a pedigree, you need to remember that you are not doing this to please your pride or to indulge in self-abasement. You need to try to look at your ancestors impartially: not in a rosy light, hushing up any of their problems and sins, but also without dumping all the heavy karma of the family on them. Remember that these were people just like you, they hoped to live a happy life in harmony with themselves, loved ones and the whole world; and if something didn’t work out for them, this is not a reason for condemnation and contempt. You need to objectively understand what their mistakes and victories were, and based on this experience, try to build your life in the way that seems right to you. Therefore, it is advisable to find truthful information about what your ancestors were like in reality. It will be very good if you learn this information from objective sources and historical archives. Of course, in order to do this work efficiently, it is advisable to have some skill in working with archives and historical documents. For those who cannot or do not want to independently search for historical information about their ancestors, there are specialists who can obtain all the necessary information and trace a person’s ancestral roots.

Secondly, you need to perform a ritual of “viewing” the family.

You can perform this ritual alone, or with relatives, but it is important that everyone present takes what is happening seriously. Choose a free time (but keep in mind that this activity can take a lot of time and require a lot of effort). Take a candle (preferably a blessed one, for example a church one, but a large one, because it may have to burn for a long time) and a piece of paper on which draw seven generations of your family’s family tree with all the names of your ancestors. Think about each of the 126 ancestors in turn, remember everything you know about them. It is very important to monitor the sensations that arise during this process. Maybe the moment you think about someone, you feel peace and gratitude? Or maybe, on the contrary, resentment and misunderstanding? This all speaks about the state of your family and the influence that this or that ancestor has on you and your life. Pay attention to the objective things that are happening at this moment. If suddenly you suddenly feel cold, or a candle crackles, or there is a clap of thunder outside the window, all of these should be perceived as signs that can tell you about something hidden. Also, pay close attention to the dreams that you have after this ritual - if your work with your family was truly deep, your ancestors may appear to you in a dream and tell you something. If there are any tragedies, difficult cases in the family, you must, as it were, live through them, grieve them, - in this way they will take the place in the past that is due to them, and will not affect those living today. If there are bright personalities in your family - and, most likely, you will find such among your 126 ancestors - feel your connection with them. After all, a connection with a bright ancestor is the strongest amulet that can provide protection, energy, and advice in a difficult situation.

Unfortunately, few of them modern people can accurately trace his ancestry back seven generations. In this case, you may not name all the ancestors by name, but still consider each individually - as “the father of the father’s great-grandmother,” for example, and try to feel what this ancestor was like, what influence he has on you.

This ritual can be done as often as you feel the need for it. And each time you will feel how the darkness of times is gradually parting and your ancestors are becoming closer and more understandable to you. After all, the strength of the clan depends on the memory of the descendants and on the attention they give to the clan.

You can do it during special periods (which will be discussed later) or simply throughout the year (then it’s better on Saturdays,

because Saturday is symbolically associated with the ancestors).

After you have carefully looked through your entire family and understood which of your ancestors are closest to you and from which of them you can expect protection and help, you can place figurines of these ancestors in your home.

Among the Slavs (like many other peoples) it was customary to install in a special part of the house, the red corner, a shrine - a shelf where wooden figurines of bearded “grandfathers”, that is, the ancestors of the clan, were located (I will tell you more about ritual dolls depicting deceased ancestors in the chapter “Vanishing Blood”).

Once you know about your family, you can conduct memorial ceremonies - symbolic meetings that pay tribute to the ancestors, strengthen the family, and introduce children to their ancestors. Funeral ceremonies are family, to which no strangers are invited (and all of their own must be present), and public, which are celebrated with folk festivities.

Funeral rituals are associated, firstly, with food, and secondly, with memories of ancestors.

Traditional Slavic funeral rites (which, with minor modifications, can still be carried out today), Grandfathers?, took place like this.

On this day, they thoroughly cleaned the house, but did not engage in active work - it was believed that on ritual days the spirits of ancestors were invisibly present around, and during active work - chopping wood, for example, you could accidentally touch an invisible spirit. The bathhouse was heated, and before sunset all living family members had to wash themselves, because with the onset of darkness the spirits of their ancestors could come to the bathhouse to wash themselves. The funeral meal itself began in the late afternoon, when it was time to light the fire. They set a table in the house and invited the souls of their ancestors to visit for a meal. The head of the family walked around the table three times, naming the names of all the deceased relatives. On the table at this time there were special dishes associated with funeral rituals: kutia (funeral ritual porridge made from whole grains with dried fruits, nuts and honey), pancakes, scrambled eggs, kvass, milk, and those dishes that the ancestors loved during their lifetime; Moreover, the ancestors were given a spoonful of each dish on a separate plate, and they also put aside “firsts” - the first pancake, the first bread, and so on. During the meal, stories were told about ancestors (but at this moment of ritual remembrance - “either good or nothing”). After dinner was over, the young people were not allowed to get up first - it was believed that whoever gets up first might die first. After dinner, they opened the windows and doors and saw off the souls of the ancestors, but the table was not cleared, they were left for the souls that might come at night. On this night, they were careful about dreams, because the souls of ancestors could appear in them and give advice.

If you host such a memorial meal, keep in mind that the food left over the next morning should not be eaten alive, nor should it be thrown into the trash heap. You can give it to animals or insects (for example, put it near an anthill or just under the turf). If the animals did not eat the food, this means that the family’s karma is heavy. But you don’t need to worry too much about this: if you work with the genus, the energy of the genus will gradually improve.

It is good to combine a memorial meal with a visit to the graves of deceased relatives on the same (or close) day.

And, of course, this is a good reason to introduce children to family history, tell them about their ancestors, and draw a family tree together. You can also take photographs of your ancestors and bow to them. If you bow sincerely, without offense or indignation, but with a feeling of gratitude for what you have, you will feel a response of sorts. This response may come as a feeling of security, enthusiasm, inspiration; or as real events that are somehow connected with your family. For example, a distant relative suddenly calls or relationships in your family improve.

During remembrance, they usually tell only good things, without focusing on the difficult, tragic moments in the life of the family. But if the history of the family is not the most rosy, you can take on some obligations to atone for the sins that were committed by your ancestors. For example, if there was infanticide (abortion) in the family, you can help orphans or sick children. If there has been theft in your family, donate the money to a good cause. It is also very good to plant plants, especially trees, in honor of our ancestors. And in general, the cult of ancestors is very supportive of rituals that are connected with the outside world. The desire for personal spiritual growth, meditation, etc. is, of course, wonderful, but it can be fraught with the danger of increasing selfishness and pride, and sometimes the best spiritual practice is to collect garbage in the nearest forest.

The cult of ancestors itself is based on the idea that what you have is not only your merit: many generations of your ancestors lived, accumulating power so that you could wield it in your life. And you can express your respect for them through helping the world around you and those who come after you.

If you plant a tree (in many cultures symbolizing clan, by the way), which will outlive you and bear fruit after you leave this world, you begin a new cycle of life.

Annual circle

Although ancestral spirits can come at any time, proper communication with them occurs only when a certain order is observed. If you want to truly establish a connection with your departed ancestors and your entire family, you need to remember them regularly. And it is advisable to do this during special periods when the forces of nature are most active.

The pagan tradition follows the logic of the living - the cycle of alternating life and death. Man in the tradition believed that time is not linear and that the most important events repeat themselves every year.

Human life is not only a purely human existence, but also a part of the life of the entire Universe, cosmic harmony. Living in harmony with nature means harmonizing human cycles with natural cycles. Winter is coming, which means you need to face the frost. Spring is coming, which means we need to cultivate the land. There is a time of hope, a time of expectation, there is a time of accomplishment, a time of fruit, and there is also a time of funeral pyres. Nothing disappears without a trace, water returns as rain, effort returns as a result, youth turns into old age, and old age feeds childhood. And you should always be grateful for the gifts you receive.

In the pagan tradition, man believed that Mother Earth and Father Sun were also his ancestors. After all, they give a person energy, nutrition, warmth, light - life itself.

And it is no coincidence that almost all traditional agricultural holidays dedicated to key moments of the agricultural cycle contained elements of worship of departed ancestors.

In almost all religious traditions Eight dates have important symbolic meaning - points in the solar cycle at which the intensity of sunlight changes, signifying the next stage in the mystery of the eternal confrontation between Light and Darkness. Astrologically, these points signify the passage of the Sun through certain degrees: the transition of the Sun into cardinal signs and into the middle of the fixed signs. These are the days of the equinox, solstice and change of season. In traditional culture, it is believed that this is sacred time, which comes out of ordinary time and comes into contact with mythological time that existed at the dawn of time. At such moments - on

junctions, boundaries, turns of time - an otherworldly world, invisible in normal times, opens up to a person. These days are energetically charged and have different meanings depending on the astrological position of the Sun. Even a person living in an urban culture and having nothing to do with nature, agriculture and natural magic, feels that his state on the darkest day of the year - the winter solstice - is different from the state on the day of the spring equinox, for example.

Rituals or rituals performed on these days are especially effective. Each of these dates has its own meaning that is associated with the given natural moment yearly circle, so it is advisable that the meaning of the rite or ritual that you perform corresponds to the meaning of the day itself.

Typically these dates are associated with Celtic tradition, but similar holidays exist in most traditional cultures and are dedicated to these eight dates or times around these dates.

The fact is that the shift in dates was seriously influenced by the calendar reform (the transition to the Gregorian calendar) and Christianity (ancient pagan holidays, which, despite the prohibitions, people continued to celebrate, were moved to merge with church Christian holidays). In addition, in reality, the dates of the holidays could shift depending on the climate and weather (for example, the harvest festival is timed to coincide with the actual harvest) and on the phase of the moon.

Each of these days symbolically corresponds to one of the generations of the clan. This means that although on any of these days it is possible (and necessary) to remember the entire family, special attention should be paid to the generation that is responsible for the symbolic meaning of this moment of the annual circle and its problems.

Since this cycle is a wheel, it has no beginning or end, so choosing any point as the beginning will be conditional. I'll start with a story about the dying and reborn Sun.

Yule (the Sun enters the sign of Capricorn, December 21–22) is the day of the winter solstice, the shortest and darkest day of the year. From this day on, the sunlight will gradually increase, but only after it has passed through its symbolic death. In the Slavic tradition, this holiday was known under the name “Karachun”.

This period is associated with a deep transformation of personality, an internal change in consciousness and ideas about the world. These days it is good to carry out rituals related to the unconscious: diving far into the past or predicting the future. This time is symbolically associated with the cycle of rebirth. The holiday itself consists of two parts: the onset of pitch darkness due to the fading of the old Sun and the appearance of a new, very young Sun, which will become stronger day by day. On these days, the ritual of extinguishing and lighting the fire was traditionally carried out. In general, this period is associated, on the one hand, with immersion in the depths of the history of a kind, and on the other hand, with the celebration of a person’s personal will and his individual destiny.

The day of the winter solstice itself is traditionally considered a particularly dangerous time, when the world of the living and the world of the dead come into contact with each other more closely than ever. Therefore, on this day itself, magical rituals can only be performed knowledgeable people, magicians and sorcerers. Other people usually celebrate the holiday later, a few days after the longest night, when the sunlight has become a little brighter and the danger of contact with the world of the dead and spirits has passed. On these days - usually 4-5 days after the solstice - Kolyada is celebrated in the Slavic tradition. This holiday is celebrated cheerfully and noisily in order to drive away with noise those ill-disposed spirits that could interfere with the birth of the new Sun. To do this, you need to light fires, sing and dance around them. Mummers (boys and girls dressed in masks of scary animals), who symbolize spirits who have come from the world of the dead to visit their descendants, walk around the courtyards, sing special songs - carols, demanding treats and respect from the owners, otherwise promising “to the devils’ courtyard.” , to the worm garden."

This period is symbolically connected with the seventh, most sacred, generation of the clan; and also with the first generation, that is, with the person himself. In nature, this is the moment of the birth of a new Sun, and in the cycle of annual rituals, it is the moment when a person can, with the help of the founders of his family, change his destiny. These days, it’s good to turn to your ancestors for advice about your life, your future, you can guess.

At this time, rituals related to snow can be performed (that is, with figures made from snow). Firstly, at this time when strong destructive forces nature, you can effectively destroy or freeze problems: in a snow figurine you can concentrate all the negativity that a person has, or the image of his enemy. Secondly, from snow you can sculpt an image of what a person wants. Such an image, turning into water in the spring, will nourish the sprouts of desire embodied in reality.

But, of course, we must not forget that one must perform magical actions these days with caution and common sense, because throughout the dark season, spirits reign on Earth and can severely punish a person for any mistake he makes.

Imbolc (Sun enters the middle of Aquarius, February 2, real astrological degree falls on February 4–5) is the hidden beginning of spring. The sun, born on the day of the winter solstice, has already noticeably increased in strength, and people are visited by hope for future warmth.

In the Slavic tradition, “Srecha” (or Candlemas) falls around this time - the day when winter meets spring for the first time this year; and a memorial day called Srechensky (or winter) grandfathers.

Another Slavic holiday of this time is Gromnitsa, the only day in winter when thunder can be heard; Based on the weather on this day, people guess about how quickly spring will come and about the future harvest. On this day, it is customary to light fires in the house and melt the snow.

Gromnitsy is also associated with health: for example, on this day you can fumigate people (or animals) with smoke from set fire to special herbs collected in the summer. This is also a day of cleansing: it is very good to celebrate this day in a carefully cleaned house and wash yourself - it would be best to wash yourself with melt water or even lie in the snow.

In the USA and Canada, Groundhog Day is celebrated at this time. It is believed that on this day, by the behavior of the marmot crawling out of its hole, one can predict the future weather and the onset of spring.

This period is well suited for rituals dedicated to maintaining health (physical and emotional), releasing vitality, nutrition, family relationships, and motherhood. From this date until mid-summer is the time when rituals associated with conception, pregnancy and childbirth can be performed.

Symbolically, this moment of the annual circle is associated with the second generation, that is, with the parents. Therefore, it will be very good to spend these days with them.

The vernal equinox (Sun enters Aries, March 21–22), or Ostara, is the beginning of true spring, astrological New Year. This holiday symbolizes the return of earthly fertility and exists in all world religions. For example, the Orthodox custom of painting eggs for Easter is also associated with it (in general, the egg is one of the most ancient

pagan symbols, there are many myths about the emergence of the whole world from an egg). This is a celebration of a fertile beginning, a time when nature awakens and preparations for spring activity begin.

In the Caucasus, there is a custom on the day of the spring equinox to polish all bronze and copper dishes to a shine and put them out in the yard, as if calling on the sun with their bright radiance.

2 weeks after the spring equinox, China celebrates “Qingming” (translated as “pure brightness”). The second name of the Qingming Festival is “Grave Sweeping Festival.” On this day (which is a non-working day in China), people remember their ancestors with their families, visit graves, clean and decorate them, offer prayers and make sacrifices to the Heavenly Lord and the Divine of the earth in the form of “three animal sacrifices” - pork, mutton and chicken (now often in the form of fruits and vegetables) and sacrificial money. Another name for this holiday is “Cold Food Festival.” Previously, on this day it was forbidden to light a fire in the hearth and cook food - it was believed that otherwise the entire harvest of the next year would perish.

In the Slavic tradition, Maslenitsa (Komoeditsa) is celebrated at this time. This is a mass holiday during which folk festivities, fun, games, round dances, and fist fights take place. This holiday is associated with the Sun and the warming of the earth - at this time it is necessary to light fires, burn straw wreaths on high poles and stuffed animals symbolizing the passing winter. In addition, burning straw, “smudging,” means inviting the spirits of departed ancestors - this is one of the ways of remembering the dead, the ritual of “warming the dead”, which was held on memorial days.

It was believed that all these days people needed to eat well - then the future harvest would be good and people would live in abundance all year. Traditionally, everyone was fed on these days, especially orphans and lonely old people. Even the animals were fed to their fill, and in all dark corners crumbs were thrown at home.

The main ritual dish for Maslenitsa is pancakes, reminiscent of the Sun in their shape. On this day, there should be “the smell of a frying pan” in the house (it was believed that the spirits of ancestors, visiting their relatives on this day, feed on the smell of fat or oil). Traditionally, they did not eat the first pancake themselves, but put it in the attic on the window, sacrificing it to the spirits of their ancestors: at this time they flew “on bird wings” to visit their descendants and rejoice with them at the end of winter.

During this period, it is good to ask your ancestors for help in matters that should bring fruit and prosperity in the future: in work, employment, profession, in study, in the realization of abilities. This time is well suited for rituals associated with activity, energy, and intelligence.

The most important thing these days is the connection with the third generation of the family - that is, with grandparents. If they are alive, it will be very good to celebrate this holiday with them. If they have already died, you need to remember them with special attention.

Beltane is traditionally celebrated on May 1 (astrologically - May 5–6) - it is a celebration of the fertility of the earth and people, the forces of the Earth, the forces of matter, and love. Holidays of this time are considered mainly for women: they include a variety of fortune telling, rituals for love, a happy marriage and ensuring a good harvest next summer. At this time, the rituals must include a “Maypole” - a living tree, decorated with ribbons, beads, flowers, etc., symbolizing the awakening of nature and the World Tree. Traditionally, young girls and boys celebrate this holiday especially willingly: it is believed that those who stay at home at this time and do not participate in the festivities will face an unsuccessful marriage in the future.

In general, the entire period from Beltane to the summer solstice is a series of holidays associated with fertility, feminine energy, and love. The gradual flourishing of life in nature makes the invisible world of spirits stronger - so that by June spirits become dangerous to the living.

The night of May 1st is traditionally known as Walpurgis Night. In the Middle Ages, it was believed that on this night the boundaries between worlds were erased and witches gathered for their holiday, so ordinary people needed to be especially careful on this day and, with the help of rituals, protect themselves and their home from dark magic.

IN Ancient Rome Around these days, “Lemuria” (or “Lemuralia”) was celebrated - the holidays of the dead. It was believed that on these days souls could roam the world in the form of vampire ghosts, so at midnight the father of the family had to walk around the house barefoot and perform a special ritual to ward them off - with a spell to scatter black beans to pay off the spirits. After this, he washed himself with water, took a copper basin and beat it with all his might, asking the spirits to leave the house.

At this time, Siberian Tatars celebrate “Tsym Pairam”, the Day of Remembrance of Ancestors. It is celebrated when the soil (tsim) is already drying up and the ice flow on the rivers ends. On this day, the graves in the cemetery are tidied up, funeral prayers are read to ancestors up to the seventh generation, colored eggs are eaten, and the shells are scattered on the graves. At home, they conduct a ritual of remembrance of ancestors, cook National dishes and invite relatives, a mullah or a person who knows prayers to a meal. It is believed that plowing the land and pruning trees is possible only after this holiday has passed.

In the Slavic tradition, during this period, “Spring Grandfathers” are celebrated (Krasnaya Gorka, Radunitsa, Yuryev Day) - several days of joyful commemoration of ancestors (one of the variants of the name is “Joyful Grandfathers”). This is again a national, public holiday - people came to the cemetery and brought funeral food there.

Navy Day is the most dangerous day of this week, because on this day the dead are buried (that is, those who died an unclean death and did not completely go to another world, but remained on earth in the form of restless spirits - more about them will be in the chapter “Disappearing Blood”) can come out of their graves and harm the living. As during the winter holidays - carols, the rituals of this period traditionally involved mummers in masks of animals, devils and mermaids, depicting dead spirits who came from the world.

“Green Christmastide” (Semik, Rusalia, Dirty Week) is the only major Slavic holiday that does not coincide with any point in the annual solar cycle (it was celebrated between Beltane and Litha, on the seventh Thursday after Easter).

Semik was one of the most important memorial holidays among the Slavs; at this time people did not work, visited the graves of their ancestors and had a funeral meal. On this day, the only time a year it was possible to commemorate the hostage dead. It was believed that, in comparison with ordinary dead people, the hostages of the dead were more “demanding”: the ordinary ones only had enough of the smell of food, and the hostages needed real food from the living; the ordinary ones had enough of the clothes that were put in their coffin, while the hostages quickly “wear out” their clothes and they require a new one and so on. On this day, the hostage dead especially strive to harm those of their living relatives who have forgotten them and do not remember them, therefore, during Semitic memorial rites, people tried to appease their souls, hold a funeral feast at their graves so that they would not harm the living.

In Rus', every year in Semik, funeral services were held and buried the hostage-laden dead, after which alms and food were given to the gathered beggars. Sometimes noble persons, boyars and even

the king himself.

During this period, people had to be especially careful, because there was a high probability of meeting “otherworldly” creatures. It was believed that during “mermaid days” mermaids come out of the water to comb their hair, swing on tree branches, like on a swing (sometimes luring passersby: “Man, go swing!”), play and frolic on the ground, lead round dances with songs, dances, jokes and laughter; they can be seen at road intersections, in cemeteries, in fields, in flowering glades in the forest, on tree branches (most often on birch). Traditionally, mermaids were the spirits of women who committed suicide or drowned.

There was a belief that their souls after death devilry cooks in a cauldron with various potions, which is why such spirits become forever young and unusually beautiful. Mermaids do not like living women and, if they see them in the forest, they attack them, tear off their clothes and drive them away with branches, and they try to seduce men who cannot resist their beauty and then tickle them to death. It was believed that sometimes during their dances mermaids perform a ritual that protects the harvest, but they can also punish those people who treat them with disrespect (for example, they work in Semik): send locusts, drought, prolonged rains or frosts to their fields, destroy livestock In tradition, it was believed that a meeting between a man and a mermaid could bring him luck and wealth, or, on the contrary, could lead to his death. Therefore, it was advisable not to go into the forest alone, not to stay there after sunset and, of course, not to swim, especially at noon or midnight.

In addition, it was necessary to appease the mermaids so that they would not harm the living. Therefore, edges of bread were left for the mermaids at the borders of fields or at crossroads, and old clothes, embroidered towels, and skeins of thread were left on branches near rivers and lakes. And in case a person met the mermaid face to face, he had to carry garlic or a sprig of wormwood with him and when the mermaid asked “Wormwood or parsley?” say: "Wormwood." Then the mermaid will answer with annoyance: “You yourself will perish” (or shout: “Hide under the tyn!”), and will run away. And if you answer: “Parsley,” then the mermaid will say: “Oh, my darling,” and begin to tickle the person until he falls dead. There were other ways not to fall under the mermaid's spell, the simplest of which was to lower your eyes to the ground, not look the mermaid in the eyes and not respond to her call. In addition, salvation from mermaids can be the sign of the cross, a circle drawn on the ground, pricking a mermaid with a needle or pin, or singing special protective mermaid songs.

Usually on Sunday of Rusal Week or on the first day of Peter's Lent, the ritual of “seeing off the mermaid” took place (although it could also take place on Spiritual Day, Trinity Saturday, on Ivan Kupala). The ceremony took place in the evening, often at midnight, the main character was a costumed mermaid (sometimes a stuffed mermaid), who, with shouts and songs (for example, such as: “I’ll take the little mermaid to the forest, I’ll return home myself,” “So that they they didn’t come to us, but they didn’t break our life, and they didn’t catch our girls”) they sent us out of the village: into the field, into the forest or to the river, while the costumed mermaid tried to scare or make the rest of the people laugh, “made faces.” After being expelled, she hid for some time, and then secretly returned to the village, while the festivities continued. Sometimes there is a similar ritual of “mermaid funeral”, in which a stuffed mermaid was burned or drowned in the river. The meaning of these rituals is that it is advisable to remove mermaids (as ill-disposed spirits, hostages of the dead) from human habitats at the end of spring. To do this, you need to organize folk festivals and then a funeral for the mermaids; Moreover, their “corpses”, as unclean, cannot be buried in the ground; they must be drowned in water, burned or left on the surface.

At this time (before Trinity), female initiation rites traditionally took place: young girls were recognized as adults who had reached marriageable age. One of the respected women in the village gathered the girls and took them into the forest. In the forest (usually in a birch forest), the girls sang chants, danced in circles and performed a rite of worship: two girlfriends walked under a birch arch, kissed, exchanged small gifts and called each other godfather (however, there is a hypothesis that during this ritual the girls did not worship each other, and for a while - with mermaids, in order to appease them and learn from them their future fate).

Beltane rituals relate to fertility of all kinds (for example, the conception and birth of a child, the future harvest, or material wealth). Also at this time, rituals to improve health and rituals for beauty can be performed. In tradition, it was believed that in order for a girl to become a beauty, she needed to wash her face with dew on the morning of the first of May at sunrise, or even lie completely in the dew. And this is the most best time for rituals related to love, marriage and relationships in general.

This period is associated with a person’s great-grandparents, that is, with the fourth generation. It is very useful these days to remember them, talk about their lives, and turn to them with requests.

Litha (Sun enters the first degree of Cancer, June 21–22) – midsummer festival, summer solstice. This is the moment of the sacred marriage of Fire and Water. This night is the most “strong” of the year, but at this time both good spirits and not so kind ones are equally active. During this period, there is still a great danger of meeting mermaids and other creatures from another world.

At this time, just as during the spring holidays, the elements of water and fire are very important: people bathe in dew at night and in rivers during the day, light fires and jump over them.

In the Slavic tradition, during this period the night of Ivan Kupala, Trinity, and Spiritual Day are celebrated.

At this time, the ritual of “Driving the Bush” is performed - apparently, the oldest of the pagan Slavic rituals that have come down to us (it is still preserved in Belarus). During this holiday, a girl (“bush”) dressed with greenery and branches walks around the village with other women singing songs; they wish the owners of each house well-being, and they give them food, gifts, and money. In this ritual, the “bush” symbolizes not only the forces of nature and fertility, but also the spirit of the clan: the Slavs believed that the souls of ancestors could be hidden in fresh greenery (remember also that a tree is often a symbol of the clan). It is no coincidence that on Trinity Day, another important memorial day, it is customary to decorate houses and churches with green branches and flowers.

The rituals of this time are associated with the strength and fullness of life: these rituals should help to gain courage, achieve a goal, realize one’s abilities and capabilities, show what a person is capable of, and take a place in life a good place, reach best health, energy and happiness, find your love. This is also the traditional time of male initiations and dedications, best of all - in the days before Ivan Kupala.

This period is associated with the fifth generation of a person, with the parents of his great-grandparents.

Lughnasadh (August 1, astrologically August 7–8) is the “festival of the first harvest.” At this time, the plants begin to dry out, the fruits and seeds fall off for the future harvest. If before this a person worked well, then these days he sees the result of his labors. This is a time of abundance and prosperity.

this time in Japan the Obon holiday is celebrated (it was originally celebrated on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, and after Japan switched to the Gregorian calendar, some celebrate it according to the new calendar (July 13–15), and some on August 13–15, which is closer to the traditional date).

Obon is the most important holiday not only for the cult of ancestors, but, perhaps, for the entire culture of modern Japan. Sometimes this holiday is also called the “Lantern Festival”. On this day, people light lanterns in the evening to make it easier for the souls of their ancestors, who at this time return to Earth to visit their relatives, to find their way. For this holiday, people thoroughly clean their houses and decorate them with branches of a sacred tree, place memorial plaques with the names of deceased ancestors next to the altar, and offer funeral food to the spirits. A special meal is left in cemeteries, incense is burned, and in temples they read holy books. This holiday is celebrated cheerfully, colorfully and noisily, and its most important component is dancing, symbolizing the expression of gratitude to the ancestors - bon odori, which everyone dances.

An interesting holiday associated with death is taking place these days in Spain (Galicia). It is called the "Feast of Saint Martha". Saint Martha (or Saint Martha) was the sister of Lazarus, who believed in Christ even before the resurrection of her brother. This holiday is dedicated to those who practically had one foot in the grave, but miraculously escaped death.

On this day, people who escaped death lie down in coffins in the church, and relatives and friends carry them in the coffins to the cemetery, and then the procession returns back to the church, after which the survivors share memories of their failed death.

These days it is good to carry out rituals to attract good luck, money and, in general, material well-being and confidence in the future.

Symbolically, this period of the annual circle is associated with the sixth generation, with the parents of the great-grandfathers.

Mabon (September 21, the Sun enters the sign of Libra on September 24), the autumnal equinox - the “festival of the second harvest”, the time of completion of the harvest.

This is the last “bright” holiday of the annual circle: it is believed that at this time good spirits leave the world of the living and with the beginning of winter they will be replaced by their opposites.

In the Slavic tradition, “Oseniny” is celebrated at this time - the holiday of the end of the harvest.

And in Hinduism, one of the most important holidays of remembrance of ancestors falls during this period. This is "pitr-paksha" ("half-moon for the ancestors") - a period of 16 lunar days until Navratri (around mid-September to early October), when Hindus pay honor to their ancestors, especially through food offerings. In Vedic culture, it is believed that this is a very important period for working with one’s family and that any action related to the ancestors that is done at this time is strengthened many times over.

The time of fairs begins on the day of the autumn equinox. Even those who are usually wary of telling people about their achievements and well-being (so as not to jinx them) can (and should) brag at this time harvested and during ancestral holidays, praise your children.

The day of the autumn equinox is suitable for rituals related to well-being, social status, education, spiritual practices, and travel.

This period, like the previous one, is also associated with the sixth generation.

Samhain (November 1, astrologically November 7–8) is the beginning of the dark half of the year. The night is gaining more and more power on Earth and makes us think about the inexorable flow of life and the fact that there is one thing we have no control over - death.

At this time, the well-known “Halloween” is celebrated, as well as the lesser-known, but no less colorful “Day of the Dead” in Mexico. Both of them came from traditional cultures and, although influenced by Christianity, retained their original characteristics. Unlike Halloween, in which fear of the otherworldly comes to the fore, the Mexican Day of the Dead (which originates from the customs of indigenous peoples, the Mayans and Aztecs) is a time not only to remember deceased ancestors, but also a reason to laugh and rejoice, which may seem strange and extravagant for, for example, a European. Mexicans believe that on these days the souls of their deceased return to Earth to see relatives and enjoy earthly joys that they are deprived of in the afterlife. This holiday is widely celebrated throughout Mexico (as well as Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador) with carnivals, gifts of sweets in the shape of skulls, coffins and skeletons, and, of course, visits to the graves of ancestors.

Introduction

Ghosts come to me.

It is my job to see and hear them.

Often, actions that are inexplicable from the point of view of common sense that a person performs are explained precisely by the tasks that he needs to solve as a descendant, and if he does not understand the conditions of this task, then solving it, of course, turns out to be much more difficult, if not impossible.

This book will contain many references to folk customs and different traditional cultures. This is not only a tribute to the culture of our ancestors, but also an effective tool.

Understanding the mechanism of influence of the generic system on a person is important for everyone, and this is especially important for those who have some kind of magical abilities or ambitions.

Currently there is no scientific explanation for the operating principle ancestor cult No.

And in modern society we still have many traditions associated with family. In Belarus, Slavic ancestral rites and holidays associated with the veneration and remembrance of ancestors, “Grandfathers?” (or "Dziady" 1
These holidays are celebrated several (three to six) times a year. According to beliefs, on these days the dead (grandfathers, souls, parents, the dead) come to their homes for a funeral dinner. – Note. ed.

And the spirits of ancestors themselves are for people a kind of border between the world of the living and the world of the dead, because for an ordinary person this is the simplest and safest way to touch another world.
